In July 2025, IVAEN Education reached a significant milestone: we have been officially recognized as an Innovative Enterprise by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy of Cyprus. This certification is awarded to companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to research, technological development, and innovation – criteria that are at the heart of IVAEN’s mission and operations.
What Does the Certificate Mean?
The Cyprus Innovative Enterprise Certificate is a mark of excellence for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that invest substantially in research and development (R&D). To qualify, a company must show that at least 10% of its operating expenses are dedicated to R&D activities, or meet other innovation-driven criteria. The certificate is not only a recognition of technological leadership but also unlocks access to tax incentives, national and EU-level funding programs, and priority in innovation support schemes.
